Bite CP, has this year bounded up the Design Week chart of top 100 design consultancies in the UK to be firmly placed in the top 50.
The results, announced at the end of May, charted the rise and fall of design consultancies across the UK in the last 12 months. This year’s table is quoted as listing the darkest days of the economic downturn, with big drops in income of many key players and an unusually mixed picture in several design sectors. With this in mind, Bite CP’s climb from 66 to 49 is a phenomenal achievement.
Bite CP’s creative director, Darren Cornwall said: “We are all thrilled to be recognised as a top 50 agency following our launch just 5 years ago. We believe that good work comes from good people and we’ve built the agency with this in mind. On top of that, we have a client base of fantastic names and brands of which we are very grateful. Bite CP has developed amazingly well over the last 5 years and we’re really looking forward to the next.”
On top of being rated number 49 overall, Bite CP also featured in two other charts. Listed as equal 18th on the most bullish top 100 list, Bite CP has proven its confidence heading in to the coming year and with a 15% fee-income increase year on year it’s not hard to see why.

We are pleased to announce our recent IVCA award win. The award was achieved for our creation and delivery of a Transport For London project called ‘UpGrade – Journey into Year 7’. The campaign created by Bite CP for TFL, is to advise and assist children and parents regarding local sustainable transport, during the transition between primary to secondary school. The campaign has been rolled-out across 17 London boroughs and following the launch, nearly 60% of students surveyed, said that the information provided in their UpGrade packs made them think about new and different ways of travelling to school.
The IVCA judges described Bite CP’s work as: ‘A very engaging and proven campaign with high production values that makes a potentially dull issue fun. Good school curricular link too.’
Darren Cornwall, Director at Bite CP said: ‘ We are extremely proud to win this award, not only because it’s for our work developing UpGrade which is an extremely important TFL campaign. But because the IVCA awards are held in great esteem and represent several of our key values. The entire Bite CP team has been involved with ‘UpGrade’ and are pleased with the recognition.’
The IVCA has been around for 40 years. The awards are not-for-profit, and recognise best practice in communicating the importance of CSR, diversity, sustainable development, social inclusion and ethical debate, whatever the media platform.
Here’s to many more Bite CP wins!
