TFL Recognised By Education Resource Awards

Bite CP is pleased to announce that UpGrade for Transport for London (TFL) has been shortlisted for “best secondary resource – non ICT” at the Education Resource Awards. Held at the prestigious National Motorcycle Museum tonight, this year’s awards promises to be the best ever.

The Educational Resources Awards highlight the quality and diversity of educational products and resources, excellent educational establishments and the most dedicated members of the teaching profession and supplies industry.

Leon Girling, TFL said: We are very excited to be recognised by the prestigious Educational Resources Awards. TFL has invested heavily in making its educational resources second-to-none, and the UpGrade programme really reflects this through the content developed by TFL and designed by Bite CP. Three is the magic number

Following a three-way pitch, Bite CP is pleased to announce Zoggs, the global brand for recreational swimmers, as a new client.

Bite CP recently won the opportunity to work with Zoggs from a digital perceptive. We are now responsible for the management and development of the company’s web design and communications.

Moving on Up

Bite CP is pleased to announce that we’ve moved up a whopping 12 places in this year’s Design Week ‘Top 100 Agencies’ table. Bite CP is now positioned at number 66, poised to leap into the top 50.

Furthermore, we were featured as number seven in the ‘leap froggers’ table for those agencies who have risen the most places during the year.

Bite CP strengthens digital team

This month sees Bite CP hire Mark Emerson as Digital Developer to strengthen its digital team. Mark comes to Bite CP with 20+ years experience, specialising in Microsoft ASP.net. He offers a wide range of skills and experience from several different industries and environments. Mark has worked on a number of brands including; AON/London General Holdings, Ghost telecoms and HiCom Technology.

Here at Bite CP, he will also be utilising his social media, social networking and interactive skills, using latest technologies like AJAX and Silverlight.

Mark says: “Bite CP was an attractive opportunity due to the endless client base and diverse solutions they provide and support, I am looking forward to being a part of something much bigger and bringing my own values and experience to the team. I can bring plenty of knowledge and web development skills to the company and its clients.”

Bite CP hires Lawn

Great news! April sees the launch of the Bite CP PR team, headed up by Melanie Lawn who comes to us with more than 10 years experience, gained while working on the agency side for brands such as Nike, Eurostar, EA Sports, Nestle, and AOL. Melanie has also worked in-house for Dyson and for The Telegraph Group – therefore understands PR from both sides of the fence.

Bite CP targets ISO9001

Following Bite CP’s recognition as an Investor in People, the company has now embarked on achieving ISO9001.

Bite CP Client Services Director, Alex Blomfield, stated “Due to the standards we have in place, partly because of our work on Local Government campaigns, the process itself should be relatively straightforward. We already have stringent quality control but anything we can add as a result of ISO input will benefit both us and more importantly our clients”.

All of Bite CP are committed to achieving this important standard with a target of certification.

A racing success

Bite CP have been awarded a contract to maintain and develop the global A1GP website. A1GP is an entirely new concept in motor racing that pits nation against nation in the “World Cup of Motorsport”.

Bite CP are delighted to announce that they have been recognised as an Investor in People having achieved the required standard after an in-depth assessment.

Managing Director Mark Lappin commented: “This is an important achievement which highlights our commitment to providing a product and service that exceeds expectations by investing in the excellent team that we have here”.

Bite CP will now be able to use the coveted IIP kite-mark on items such as their stationery and website.

Continued growth

In order to cater for continued growth, Bite CP have refreshed an important part of their management structure. Darren Cornwall has become Creative Director for both the Design and Digital parts of the operation. Darren brings strong leadership and the highest of creative standards to a very demanding role. Tom Ward and Sam Evans have been promoted to Head of Design and Head of Digital respectively. Both have been at Bite CP for a number of years and both are very highly respected in their own fields. As a final part to the re-organisation, Alex Blomfield has become an equity member of the board with a significant stake holding in the Bite CP Group. Managing Director Mark Lappin commented:”To remain a very successful company we always consider how we approach the way that we do things. I am certain that these changes will make a significant impact on our growth plans for 2009″.

Bite CP Launches new Website: Creative consultancy Bite CP has called on the expertise of its specialist digital division to design, build and host a superb new website. The site is totally compliant and has been built using the knowledge of the in house SEO team to ensure high rankings with all the top search engines.

Initial reaction has all been very positive with a number of clients emailing their approval to the digital team.
